So I created a slider for my client's website using royal slider and everything is going fine and was able to customize it the way they wanted it to look. My only problem now is I can't seem to make the options to work? I've tried putting it in a <script></script> before the </body> - doesn't work. I've also tried putting it in a separate .js file and still the options I put is not working. Can somebody help me on what I'm missing? I just want to use the autoplay options.

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {
     // general options go gere
     autoScaleSlider: true,
     autoPlay: {
     // autoplay options go gere
     enabled: true,
     pauseOnHover: true

CSS tags on div:
<div class="slider royal-slider royalSlider heroSlider rsDefaultInv rsMinW load bottom-padding">
<div class="rsContent">
<img class="rsImg" src="img/sliderbg.jpg" width="1920" height="700" alt="">
<div class="infoBlock infoBlockLeftBlack rsABlock" data-fade-effect="" data-move-offset="10" data-move-effect="bottom" data-speed="200" data-rsDelay="2000">

    1. Make sure that you aren't initializing slider somewhere else. If you remove initialization code - does it work?
    2. Are all options not working, or only specific ones? For example, auto-play might not work if you're using custom version of JS file without auto-play module.

    If you won't be able to resolve - please link to the page with the issue.

    yes all the options are not working for me. What do you mean by custom version of the JS? The royal slider was part of a theme forest template pack that our client bought, could that also cause some kind of problem?

    Your theme already initializes it at

    Ah, I see. Thanks! Options are now working!
    Didn't know the theme already initialized it.
