the samples show code that seems to be just basic code, while the source code for the samples show .js files that are missing and cant find clear documentation on what components do what for each sample.

    Hello,

You can find basic usage instructions at https://dimsemenov.com/plugins/royal-slider/documentation/#basic-usage

You can also find pre-built examples inside the archive that you downloaded from the CodeCanyon, all templates are included.

If you added it to page and it doesn't work - you may provide a link to the page with the issue and I'll check what might be wrong.

Also, examples on JSfiddle might help, check http://jsfiddle.net/o8Lyhg2r/2/

    Dmitry,

    Thanks for your quick response.

I am still looking at the various samples and this seems simple, especially with the example provided at jsfiddle.net.

That being said, I seem to have something in my code that is preventing this from working. I took what is in your basic sample and integrated it into my applications .. most of the differences would be that I use PHP to include or not include page features and my CSS is in a sub folder as is that JS … I have not updated the jQuery for this client so it was 1.7.2 but I changed the include for them to include the 1.8.3 version

The page that I am testing is at http://www.cusicksales.com/hometest3.php It is being test to eventually replace the current home page on a live site …

    Problems:

      * Its clearly not starting the animation … images are simply appearing below each other
      * With that there are also no arrows to provide for manual slide change
      * The images are supposed to be full screen … had them that way before is started fooling with things

I would appreciate any help on this … The affects that you have created are really useful and can see using this often with other affects

    Thanks

    Roger

The path to royalslider JS file is incorrect, your current one points to http://www.cusicksales.com/royalslider/jquery.royalslider.min.js and it returns 404.

Thanks .. and sorry for missing something stupid … I still have two issues … 1) while the box seems to be full screen with navigation at the edges, the images are not taking the full width and I want them to take the full space vertically. I moved the arrows also, but what is in the folders seems to be an image with a bunch of symbols … what I like best is the one on your full width slider template which has the arrows and bullets bunched in lower right corner … Is it easy for you to point in the right direction … Thanks

    Roger

You're also missing a skin CSS file, specifically rs-default.css.

And regarding the slider size, this should help - http://help.dimsemenov.com/kb/royalslider-jquery-plugin-faq/how-to-...

    Dmitry,

Thanks for all your help with this. For the most part, this is working and I have a better handle on the various templates and options.

I have a few issues still to resolve and while I can probably figure them out, if you don’t mind giving me a little more of your time, I am a little puzzled on:

      * There is black space on top and bottom of my images
      * The arrows in the bottom right still are not visible
      * The auto play seems to sometime be on and sometimes not?
      * The class rsContent does not seem to be defined in the style sheets I have loaded

    Thanks

    Roger

Your website content shifts the image. Create an isolated example.

The arrows in the bottom right still are not visible

You have not uploaded skin png file, or it's in an incorrect location.

The auto play seems to sometime be on and sometimes not?

    Refer to https://dimsemenov.com/plugins/royal-slider/documentation/#autoplay

The class rsContent does not seem to be defined in the style sheets I have loaded

    It is defined.
