If I understand correctly, RS uses by default WordPress 'Large' images. Is it possible to use 'Full Size'? Modifying functions.php? Thank you

    Hi,

    Yes, it's possible, you may increase the size of images that slider uses in Image Options section of slider options - just set large values like 3000 and it will use largest possible image.

    Or set your custom size type via WordPress filter, like described here – http://help.dimsemenov.com/kb/wordpress-royalslider-advanced/wp-usi...

    Thanks for the prompt reply

    I had seen the link and modified functions.php, but I must be doing something wrong, as the slider still displays the 'large' format, even if I select 'Full Size' when loading the images.

    In the following code, what should I replace to load the 'full' format?

    function royalslider_change_image_size($sizes) {
        $sizes['large'] = 'your-custom-size-name';
        return $sizes;
    }
    add_filter( 'new_rs_image_sizes', 'royalslider_change_image_size' );

    Thank you

    You need just:

    // add to your theme functions.php
    function royalslider_change_image_size($sizes) {
        $sizes['large'] = 'full';
        return $sizes;
    }
    add_filter( 'new_rs_image_sizes', 'royalslider_change_image_size' );

    If it doesn't work:

    • make sure that slider isn't cached (preview and save it from admin).
    • remove values from image width/height options (in Image Options section of slider)
