Hi there,

I've installed the slider on my website, but when I try to play a Youtube video, nothing happens. You can see an example here:

Thanks,
Matt

    Hello,

Hm, it seems https URL isn't picked up. Go to edit slider page, and in Video options add https:// to the beginning of YouTube embed code,

That was exactly it :) I did reply to this thread but for some reason it's not showing up. I got it working by changing to https

I'm having a similar issue. I suspect it is a problem with my theme wordpress (maybe functions.php). The royalslider retrieves the URL and thumbnail image fine as seen here: https://www.andythomson.ca/galleries/morriston-stone-barn/ - but will not play the video - I just get a spinning loadwheel. However if I remove the https and just go to: http://www.andythomson.ca/galleries/morriston-stone-barn/ - the video plays fine. Can you suggest where I might find the problem and what to change?

    Here was the fix:

replace "http://" with "// in these 2 files in lines related to youtube.com/embed/:
    berg/assets/royalslider/jquery.royalslider.min.js
    berg/assets/royalslider/dev/modules/jquery.rs.video.js

    Now it works.
