Pictures are too small

They're not thumbnail small but they aren't big like on the website with sample images for the demos. I've tried adjusting the height and width but they never come out they way I want them too. They're usually too small, and they look slightly distorted and stretched out at times. I'm not sure what settings to change, or maybe I'm exporting them in the wrong sizes after I edit them on my computer. I really like the sliders, I just can't get them to look the way I want them to.

I see that the pictures actually look bigger than they look on the website because I screen shot the area too closely. These two should more accurately show what I'm trying to describe.

To increase size of thumbnails go to Image Options of slider and increase values in fields "Image width" and "Image height" (these parameters control size of the image itself).

Then go to "Thumbnails,Tabs,Bullets" section and increase thumbnail width & height the same way (these paramaters control size of thumbnail area).
