I found this thread, but I don't believe it completely addressed what I need: http://help.dimsemenov.com/discussions/royalslider-wordpress/29868-dynamic-flickr-slider-shortcode-with-variable-parameters

Is there a way to create some kind of shortcode such as: [new_royalslider id="1" photoset_id="123456789"] so the user doesn't have to create a new slider for every gallery? Similar to a default gallery or posts slider.

Unfortunately, there is no option to override flickr photoset ID via shortcode attribute. This is related to how RoyalSlider caches data from external sources.
