Hi,
I'm using Royal Slider for my website boat photo catalogues. My photo's can be up to around 50 in each Slider. I find that when I upload photo's to a slider the Title and Description hold the Exif_JPEG_PICTURE throughout each 50 photo's. To delete this or change to a specific value is very time consuming. Is there a way to not have this happen and if I go to the trouble of individually putting in the boat name in each photo does this benefit me SEO wise? Ideally I would like to change Exif_JPEG_PICTURE to the value I want for the product and only have to do it once for all 50 or so images.
Regards
Doug

    Hello,

    Default source of alt attribute is based on slide title, if you want to customize it you may click on Edit Slide Markup in general options and replace {{image_tag}} with desired markup for an image, e.g.:

    <img class="rsImg" src="{{image_url}}" alt="{{title}}" />

    Hi,
    I’ll have a look at that but I can’t see how default title of each photo is slider title, if so it’s not working in my case.
    Even after I’ve created my slider name all photos import with the

    Hi, I'm afraid that doesn't solve my issue. When I import photo's to a slider already created they all have Exif_JPEG_PICTURE in both the title and description section, not the slider title. It's very time consuming to go through 50 photo's are delete this. There should be a way of changing it on a group basis or stopping it all together. When I then send a page link to someone a bunch of Exif_JPEG_PICTURE's show with it.

    I notice that each photo has the permalink showing Exif_JPEG_PICTURE and then a number. It would be great if this could be group changed to the product title which would then presumably help with SEO.

    Re the above, I could go in and change all the permalinks but it's a very long process doing it all individually after upload.

    RoyalSlider does not have control of how image files are uploaded or named, it just displays a gallery. It's a default WP functionality.

    If you want your photos to appear in search engines, make sure that they have appropriate alt attributes, file names do not matter.
