Hi Dimitry,

I see this is a common request, and that in 2013, you agreed this should be a standard feature:

However, the plugin is still using Image Title, instead of Alt Text in its default setting.

Can we change this gloablly in plugin settings, or do I need to hack some code in somewhere? If the latter, please can you make it a priority for a future update - I think this is a very intuitive, basic functionality that people would expect.

    I understand the issue, but I can not modify the core functionality of variables since it'll affect existing users and HTML structure is often used by other types of slider.

    If you're creating image-based galleries, you may create one configuration that controls all galleries. Please refer to

    To modify markup of images in Slide Markup Editor, replace {{image_tag}} with the desired markup, such as:

    <img src="{{image_url}}" alt="{{alt}}" class="rsImg" />

    Thanks for the explanation.

    I'm using galleries which are a mix of images, gifs, Youtube so I'm guessing that my only option is to change the slide markup?

    For "custom" type of slider with videos/images/gifs, the plugin retrieves alt from a title of a slide. You may add a custom variable that would retrieve data from media library -
