Hello Dimitry,
I try to take advantage of the wp image srcset function, but I don't manage to.

If I correctly understand, with the last version of the plugin I have read in this article , I just need to enter no values in width and height inputs in "Image Options" section of slider option?

It does not seem to work, it always delivers me the original image, even when I try with my phone.

I have created a test slider at this address : https://www.french-touch-photography.com/30443-2/
And i have attached screenshot of the setting.
Please let me know what I am doing wrong ? Or if I misunderstood something.

Thanks
Alex

    Hello,

Removing values from image width/height options will make the slider use default sizes, which can be modified further via filter http://help.dimsemenov.com/kb/wordpress-royalslider-advanced/wp-usi...

Images on the page that you linked do not display, as you're using some kind of lazy-loading plugin (or it's a theme feature), try disabling it.

If you want to have custom markup for IMG elements in the slider, you may use custom variables, this might help http://help.dimsemenov.com/kb/wordpress-royalslider-advanced/wp-usi...

    Hello Dimitry,
    Thanks for your quick response

I have tried the solution you mention here :
    http://help.dimsemenov.com/kb/wordpress-royalslider-advanced/wp-using-wordpress-responsive-images
    <https://mailtrack.io/trace/link/2bcf19477c380d06397369468bf47ffa311966fc?url=http%3A%2F%2Fhelp.dimsemenov.com%2Fkb%2Fwordpress-royalslider-advanced%2Fwp-using-wordpress-responsive-images&userId=1552504&signature=73700476c73b28b7>
    and it works great.
But, as you mentioned at the bottom of the page, the lazy load option is
    not working anymore.
Have you found a way to fix it? maybe by using an extra plugin ?

    Best,
    Alex

I'm not sure if there is any plugin that would be able to lazy-load images from a slideshow, would require extra coding.

But your plugin Royalslider is already offering lazy-load functionality,
    right ?
I imagine that with the screst images, is not the same ?

Yes, it's not the same with srcset.
