Hi, 2 weeks ago I asked in a comment pre-sales question if I can put different images and orientation for mobile and desktop viewport?
I cannot find the option how can I put a different image on a mobile view for the slide.
Any help would be appreciated,
Karls

    Hi,

I thought you were referring to the different orientation of the gallery itself on mobile and desktop versions. There is no option to put two completely separate images for a single slide, unless you add <img> elements manually via "HTML Content" tab of the edit slide window. Do you need a UI for editors to add or change two separate images per slide?

    Hi,

My slider is without any additional text layer, a full-width wide slider with images 1920x895px.

Because the images are very wide and they have printed text with fixed design, I wanted to create a second set of images for mobile devices (different orientation and design) for each slide.

Is there any manual way to do this? I can work with additional code.

The page is https://greece20.gov.gr/ (now still with Master Slider) until I change it with Royal.

You can see my problem when you change the viewport to mobile portrait mode…

    Regards,
    Karls

I see. You may create two separate <img> elements for each slide (or any elements with background-image CSS property) and toggle their visibility via CSS. But I imagine it would be hard to manage this for editors, as they will have to define a path to each image manually via code. I also can offer a refund, if you have no use for the plugin in the current or future projects.

Personally, I'd use non-WordPress version and generate the markup manually via PHP from custom fields or something like that, not sure if any plugin can do what you need out of the box.

    Hi Dmitry,
Thank you for your suggestions. I purchased the plugin for my company's account, so I maybe will need to request a refund.
    Regards,
    Karls
