An "almost full screen" solution

Hi,

Here's my question. I'm looking for a way to create a splash page with the header and the footer visible (at the top and the bottom of the page respectively) and in between a big slider.
Please take a look at the relevant screenshot.

I'm sure it's quite easy but I can't find out how.

    Hi,

    There are many ways to do this... for example:

    #your-slider-selector {
        position: absolute;
        left: 0;
        top: 100px;  /* header height */
        right: 0;
        bottom: 50px; /* footer height */
        height: auto;
        width: auto;
    }
