Speed up and further optimize delivery

I am using the HTML version of the script on a site for a Photography client. Their images are pretty big. They want large dimensions, high quality images. Obviously there is going to be an offset on speed / performance. With this in mind is there anything I can do to further optimize the deliver of the slider in terms of speed. Any advice on speeding up the performance here would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

Slider works as fast as possible, there is no way to make it faster as it changes only one property during animation everything else is done by browser CSS transition. If you want animation, you'll have to balance between image quality and animation speed.
